Creative Writing
Creative Writing used to meet in the afternoon on the second Monday of each month. Numbers were limited to seven and we met in members' houses. At the end of each meeting we agreed a topic for the following month's story, although members were free to write about anything. When we met, we each read our story and anyone unable to attend sent their story to another member for them to read. The length of the story was unimportant but they average about 1,500 words.
After the meeting, stories were circulated by email for other members to read at their leisure and they are then circulated to others for their comments.
Rumours that the group's title was just a cover for a monthly get together for the tea, cake and a natter, were strongly denied!
A new leader is now required. Please contact Mark Gillams on groups@lru3a.org for further information.
