Anyone no longer in full time work can join the Lyme Regis u3a. There is no lower age limit for joining, although the majority of our members are of mature years.
Joining is simple
Our Membership Secretary, Jacqueline Petitt, will be happy to answer any questions you may have. Please contact Jacqueline using the form below.
Print and complete the Membership Application Form (download link below) and either send it to the Membership Secretary (address on form) or bring it along to a monthly meeting.
Our Membership year runs from the 1st January to 31st December and your subscription entitles you to attend any of the groups listed on the groups web-page although some groups will have waiting lists. You may join Lyme Regis u3a at any time during the year.
Here is the full list of subscription rates for the year commencing 1st January.
Amount Description
£12.00 Individual Annual Membership
£22.00 Joint Annual Membership (two members living at the same address)
£8.50* Associate Annual Membership
* This reduced fee is payable if you are a fully-paid up member of another u3a. Please quote the name of the other u3a and your membership number.
The rate when joining later in the year (September to November) is a pro-rata rate to include the whole of the following year. The rates are shown on the application form.
As a ‘taster’, prospective members may attend a group once without paying the Membership subscription fee, after which the fee becomes payable upon subsequent attendance. If you wish to attend as a ‘taster’, please speak to the appropriate Group Leader.
Renewals
Subscriptions become due on the 1st January; rates are listed above. Payment may be made by BACS, Cheque or Cash, in person or by post, to the Membership Secretary. Please quote your membership number when making payment. A special payment session is usually organised in November.
