As Groups Co-ordinator, I oversee all the groups of our branch.  I suggest new groups and  help new groups to form.  If there are difficulties within groups  I aim to help sort these.  I help to arrange venues and try to give advice to Group Leaders.  We have "Activites Mornings" twice a year where as many Group leaders as possible come to a coffee morning to try to display  their wares - to entice members to join their groups!

I send e-mail messages to all Group Leaders when this is needed and usually get good responses from them. Sometimes it is difficult to keep up to date with what individual groups are doing eg change of leader, venue, time and day of meeting but now we have the new website I will be urging all leaders to look at their page and inform me if they need updating!

Above all, I welcome any member contacting me with suggestions for new groups which they may be able to lead.  I will give them all the help they need to get started!
